Taylor Kruse

Taylor Kruse , Esq.

Trial Attorney

Taylor Kruse is one of our litigation attorneys at Los Angeles City Law. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School, where he served on the Board of Governors for the school’s Trial Advocacy Honors Program (TAHP) and competed multiple times. Today, Taylor continues his deep involvement with his alma mater as the president of Southwestern’s Young Alumni Association (“Nickel Club”) and as a member of the school’s Board of Trustees. He is also active in several prominent bar associations, including CAALA and CAOC.

Throughout his legal career, Taylor has exclusively focused on plaintiff-side litigation with a strong emphasis on trials. Since joining Los Angeles City Law in September 2024, Taylor has built a reputation as a relentless advocate for his clients, identifying pressure points and maximizing case value.

In February 2025, Taylor took Universal Studios to trial in a case involving disputed liability and injuries that included a minor compression fracture and a four-day hospital stay. Despite being an attorney for less than 16 months, Taylor singlehandedly managed every aspect of the trial—from jury selection to closing argument. After just three hours of deliberation, the jury returned a unanimous $7,250,000 verdict, with $7 million awarded specifically for pain and suffering.

Taylor’s approach is rooted in Theodore Roosevelt’s adage: “Speak softly, and carry a big stick.” He is known for his ability to negotiate amicably with opposing counsel but does not hesitate to act decisively when insurance companies or defense attorneys attempt to undervalue or exploit his clients’ cases. In 2025 alone, Taylor successfully convinced courts to sanction defense counsel more than $27,000 for improper tactics against his clients.

Taylor works tirelessly to ensure every client has a zealous advocate, protecting them from insurance companies that attempt to take advantage of vulnerable situations. His trial skills, leadership, and steadfast dedication to justice make him an invaluable member of the Los Angeles City Law litigation team.
